Dr. Murphy, owner of Caring Hands Animal Hospital, is a graduate of Auburn University.  She did a post graduate internship at Angel Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA.  Her interests lie in preventative medicine, internal medicine, surgery and ultrasound.

Kara Tennant, DVM | | |

Dr. Tennant is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her clinical studies at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.  She is originally from Sacramento, California and attended the University of California, Riverside.  Her interests include internal medicine, ultrasound and zoonotic diseases.  In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors running, golfing, mountain biking and hiking.  She currently lives in Bristow with her loving cat, Athena. 

Jennifer Zurkus, DVM | | |

Dr. Zurkus is a graduate if Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a degree in Animal Science from Cornell.  Her professional interests include oncology, soft tissue surgery, emergency/critical care medicine and caring for geriatric patients.  Dr. Zurkus and her husband have a young daughter and on the furry side her Akita, Chivas and two cats, Willow and Delilah.  In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, skiing and cooking. 

Nora Glaser, DVM | | |

Dr. Glaser is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College of the University of London and also attended the International Veterinary Acupuncture Basic Course in 2005. Her interests include Internal Medicine and Feline Behavior. A native of Richmond, she lives in Sterling with her husband and young son, and their two cats: Savannah and Charlie....and not to forget their "Cockador" Macon.
