Caring Hands Animal Hospital, in loving memory of our wonderful friends and colleagues Grace Marandino and Lauren Whitestone, have established memorial and scholarship funds to honor their devotion as Licensed Veterinary Technicians and their dedication to the veterinary community.  Both Grace and Lauren were treasured members of the Caring Hands family and will always remain in our thoughts and hearts.  All donations are tax deductible and we thank you all for the continued support; please read below for further details.

Grace Marandino Memorial Fund | This find will benefit the Doorways for Women and Families Shelter in Arlington.  This is one of the only 9 shelters in the US that allows families to bring their pets with them in their time of need.  Anybody wishing to donate to this fund can send a check to the following address made payable to the Grace Marandino Memorial Fund.

Grace Marandino Scholarship Fund | This fund was established for the Licensed Veterinary Technician Program at Northern Virginia Community College.  This fund will benefit young women like Grace who have been in the Veterinary field for at least three years serving the community and pets in need.  Grace was proud of accomplishing her goal as a LVT and we are proud to help others achieve their goals in the veterinary community.  Anybody wishing to donate to this fund can send a check to the following address, made payable to the NVCC Educational Foundation, along with the instructions that the funds be placed in the Marandino Scholarship account.

Because some Internet pharmacies have dubious business practices, we suggest using our client-only Online Pharmacy by clicking on the icon to the left. Our clients always have the option of having a prescription filled at the pharmacy of their choice. If you choose to have your medication filled through another pharmacy we will be happy to provide a written prescription that you may pick up.
